Pocket Purse with Brag Book

This was so fun. Sandee74 gives a great tutorial for the mini nugget purse. After making that, I played with the measurements and came up with the bigger purse. It is a bit different, closure and some trim and of course size. Then I made...
an adorable little brag boook that fits in the purse. The pages all fold out for added space to include pictures of children or pets or whatever.

The recipe:

Paper: Berry Bliss, Purely Pomegranite, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Whisper white and Close to Cocoa.
Ink: Chocoltae Chip, Purely Pomegranite(sponging), and Signo White gel pen for stitching
Stamps: Lots of Thoughts
Other: Pewter Jumbo brads, Chipboard,Assorted punches, Dimensionals, Paper Piercing tool kit and Bind it All

By The Sea

I love the ocean and love stamp sets that remind me of the ocean. This is a sneak peak at a future class, it is a beach theme book. I can only show you the cover for now, I will post the rest of the images after my class takes place in mid July.

Mini Love Notes

This mini book is just about 3 inches by 2 and a half inches. It has several layers, with the last being on dimensionals. A charm was easily attached during the binding process, but could be added later. The pages inside are regular index cards cut in half and each page has a small stamped image in the lower right corner.

P.S. keep checking, I will be posting images of my newest class...a nautical book. I have been working at it all weekend and all day today and it is finally finished. It turned out really nice if I must say so myself.

Easy Peasy Ice Cream Card

Saw a few of these adorable, easy cards around on Splitcoast and some Blogs (sorry not sure which ones) and thought I would try making a couple myself since I just got my Tart & Tangy stamp set yesterday. They are so cute.
Here is how I did the inside (above) and a couple of close ups of the fruit on the front. as you can see I added some crystal effects and then some Dazzling Diamonds to add a touch of sparkle.


What a time I had to find a popcycle stick, I know I have a whole container somewhere, but I could not find them... then i remebered I have some rub ons and they use a pop cycle type stick...ahhh ha! That's what i used, but I will exchange them for wooden ones when I find them.

Double the Fun

Here is a double pocket card I made and I noticed as I was about to post it on Splitcoast, that they have a tutorial for a double pocket card, although it is not quite the same as this one. Not sure if you can see it, but I used a stylus to make vein lines on the leaves for a more realistic effect.
Here is the card open...I used Beate's Grid technique tutorial on scoring your paper for the background on the first page you see here and I used my corner rounder with the guide removed to make the scalloped edge on the second page.
Here is the tags. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Simply used various punches.

I've Been Cased!

I was just on SCS checking the recent posts and I found a card similar to my Sympathy card I posted earlier in the week, so had to check it out and erbobbin says my card was her inspiration. It is not an exact case. Here is a link to her gallery on Slpitcoast...

My Chocolate Fix!

I love chocolate! Dark chocolate best. Well, needless to say I also love the Au Chocolat DS paper. So here are a couple of cards I made using Chocolate Chip cardstock and Au Chocolat DS paper. The card above uses a punch technique I first seen on Cambria Turnbow's blog. You can see it here...

You will need to scroll down to the Build a Flower/Build a Brad section. here is a closer look...I then used my uni-ball Signo pen to add cross stitch marks for the faux-stitching. The embossed rectangular look is done with my Skore-Pal.

I am not sure what this fold is called, but I love it. The belly band comes off to open the card.
