This is How Becca Does it!

I was so excited to try Becca's tutorial that here is the result. I don't yet have the Fleur de Lis Die so I used my Renaissance hearts die that this is the result. Her tutorial is so fun. You can play with it too and use any of the pendant dies.

Here is a close up of the center. I used a large brad from the vanilla hodgepodge hardware. Whisper white and very vanilla card stock. I did not have any pearls to glue on, but I may yet add some small gems.
Thanks Becca for the great tutorial.
Thanks,

A Case of Trying to Case Becca

Now if any of you have not seen the beautiful ornaments on Amazing Paper Grace, you need to go check them out. What that girls does with paper is incredible. Love her work. I thought I would try to case her ornaments made from the pendant dies by Spellbinders. These are my attempts.
This one has been embossed with Cuttlebug folders. I think I prefer this one. I know they are not made exactly like Becca's so I am excited that she is going to be sharing her tutorial with us, so I can get them done right.

This was my first attempt.
Becca will be posting a tutorial for this wonderful creation on Splitcoast soon so keep an eye out for it. It will be one worth doing.
Thanks,

I Heart You!

I just love doing word books, and this one was a special request. I won't share all the details, but it was for someone special, for their someone special. I also only had 24 hours to complete the book.

As always I try to keep places for pictures and journaling.

I even had a couple places where there were pull out tabs. There was one behind the Top Note die cut on this page. It had a place for journaling on it.
I haven't heard yet if it was appreciated, but I hope it was.
Thanks,

For the Whole Year- Birthday Organizer!

For those who like to be organized and have pretty things to organize with, I have created this card organizer box. The individual monthly pockets are removable, making it easy to focus on one particular month. Although the title says Birthday, you can also include other special days like anniversaries. I will add an index sized card to each monthly pocket to record those special days for that month.

Here is a close up the rose. I have to say I hesitated when another rose set came out in the catalog as I already had two beautiful sets. But, after seeing how versatile this set was I gave in and purchased yet another. A friend then traded stamp sets with me, so I am now back down to two rose sets.

Here you can see the pocket. I think I will yet stamp a partial rose on the inside top of each pocket in Baja Breeze as a finishing touch (suggestion for that idea came from my friend).
This will be one of my fall classes.
Thanks,

Quick and Fun

Here is a quick card box with matching card. The box is made from a one sheet of card stock. It will hold about 6 cards with envies. The card I have chosen to make is very simple and has no sentiment.
I left the card sentiment free because I felt the card could easily be used for a number of reasons, from Birthday, thank you or sympathy to name just a few.
I think they should bring back Baja Breeze paper. I love this color combo.
Thanks,

CAMP Scrapbook

Okay, here is one of my classes for the fall. I love doing word books, they give you a ready made theme and putting them together is so much fun.

I try not to get too elaborate in my books because we do have a time limit for the class... I remember my first class...yikes it went way over the scheduled time, but all the ladies were so good about it and I think they all still come to my classes. Thank you all so much for not giving up on my classes.

I also try to add some interactive feature to my books, and this is one in this book. It is not my original idea but thought it was cute. I just wish I had purchased the wheel stamp that had a sign on it that said " Do Not Feed the Bears", it would have went so good with this page.
For those who attend this class, you will notice I changed how I am doing my word books, at least giving it a try.
Thanks,

I'm Still Here!

Just letting you know I am still around, I have been working on my class projects for the fall and have my kids home from school...when does school start?

Anyways, I have been busy and can hardly wait to show you all the great stuff I have finished and in the works. I normally only have one project in the works but I have three finished and four in the process, plus I have been trying to get past tutorials finished so I can get them posted, have the Holiday File Folder and the Sunflower Kitchen Organizer soon ready to go.

I will try to post something fun for you all soon!

Thanks,
