I {Heart} you!

Here is a cute Valentine's display banner I made using my accucut pennants die, Stampin up Pefect pennants die and Tim Holtz mini flourish die. It is free standing, but could easliy be turned into a hanging banner. I just love how it turned out. You can falod it up to store away for next year too!

I used Love Letters Designer series paper, which Stampin Up recently had on their clearance rack. I matted it with black cardstock and then embelished each section.

The heart in this section is from glitter paper.

The letter are also from Stampin Up.

This was fun and quick to make. You can get these base pennant shapes from me to make your own Valentines banner for someone you love! I also have two other banner shapes, a triangular and a rounded edged.

Check out my store or contact me by e-mail.

Thanks,

Cutest Valentine

This is a cute Valentine my daughter received at school amongst her valentine cards. She is in grade 5. I would guess that the parent helped make these or made them completely. They are adorable but you can't open it without destroying the valentine in some way. The string holding it closed is in a knot and is behind the matt embellishment.

Super cute anyways.

Valetine for My Sweety

Here is the card I made for my Sweety for valentine's day. It is a viewmaster style card.

and here is the inside. I stamped the rose vine heart off several times before stamping on the background and then stamped the sentiment over the top. I them used the same red ink to stamp the SWAK and lips.

The front is quite dimensional. It is hard to see.

Here is the first of the sentiments in the window.

and the second....

and the third...

and the last. I stamped off the heart before stampin to paper and then added the sentiment over the top.
I hope you enjoyed this card. It was fun to make and my Sweety loved it!
Thanks,

Valentine Treat Holder Tutorial

Every year I try to make homemade treat holders or Valentine's for my daughter;s class, sometimes I do and most of the time I don't, but this year I did. YAY! It helped that I ordered the heart treat cups as soon as I saw them. If I waited to order them I know it would have been too late.

I just made a very simple holder witha trap door so you can get the candy out without ruining the card.
To see how I made it check out the video clip below.

Thanks,

TWS February Tag Swap

Here is the tag I made for the tag swap over on the Scrap Beach. The theme was "Love".

I had to make ten, keep one for myself and send the rest. I can hardly wait to get nine different ones back. I have seen two already from my group, since they have already posted pictures or video.

The "L" is die cut and up on dimensionals. Then I glimmer misted it, yup I said Glimmer Misted. I finally have some glimmer mists!

To make the hugs and kisses I set an eyelet in the middle and then used my stapler and staples to make the x's.

We did not have to do anything to the back, but I wanted to. I stamped journaling lines added a flourish edge, and then stamped the word LOVE in red. I like how it turned out, hopefully the girls in the group will too! The only thing I wish I would have done that I forgot to do was add something to it that said I made it. I will do better next time.
Below you can see a video I made telling about how I made the tag.

Thanks,

Some fun treat holders and tags for a class I will be doing in February. There are two treat holders, One is a Top Note box the other is the triangle box I did a tutorial for a few posts ago. I also made two tags, one is a three by three note card size, and the other is made with one of the tags from the two tags die.

Valentine's Treat Box Tutorial

I made this treat holder a bit ago and promised a tutorial for it, well here it is. It is a video tutorial and is a bit broken up as I had to edit to get under the 10 minutes time frame YouTube allows. I may also make a picture tutorial for this but will have to wait to see how my schedule goes for the rest of the week.

I hope you enjoy it and are able to understand it enough to make some of your own.

Edited to add: The circle for the ornament die is 2" across, for those who want to make their own without the die, hope this helps.
Thanks,

I {Heart} You Day Treat Holders

I love this mini milk carton die. I had to try it out right away. I have a cute project lined up for this die.

The box itself is actually quite tiny, but that is part of what makes it so adorable!

I simply used a binder clip to keep it closed, and attached a small tag to it using the silver elastic cord from Stampin Up.

Here is another fun little box of my own creation. I will sharing the tutorial for this shortly, well I hope shortly. This week started out so quiet and has ended up being terribly busy.

Here it is with the end open so you can see how to get the treats inside.

I hope you enjoyed these cute boxes.

Thanks,
