Mariposa Mini
Here is the pictures of the Mariposa Mini I made on my Ustream class. I know, I am way behind posting them. To be honest I was searching through my photos to see if I had remembered to post all my projects and found I few I missed so here is one of them. The cover has a die cut Tim Holtz butterfly. with several flowers and the mini title.
This mini was completed live with no preplanning. The paper was very beautiful and did not need much to make it any prettier. In fact sometimes it felt like adding anything would be too much. The inside cover has a Baroque photo matt with a tag hidden behind it. The page has Prima flowers as accents.
This page has a butterfly accent that also holds a scallop circle tag/journal spot.
A doily was used on this page to create a pocket. Glimmer mist was used to alter the color. I used one of my homemade Tammy Flowers to accent the page. And then added a cicle photo matt to the pocket.
The pocket on this page was created with a piece of acetate and some Stazon ink. The edge of the pocket was made using a Tim Holtz on the edge die.
I used the Tim Holtz bird cage die to create the pocket for this page. The tag tuck neatly into the cage and the bird is used as an accent for the page.
To create the pocket for this page I used another Tim Holtz die and die cut a keyhole near the bottom. The tag, when inserted has a key stamped that fits inside the keyhole cutout.
A large metal key was attached to the tag using a Garment pin and some beautiful jewel toned fibres.

Open House Make and Take
My friend is a Stampin Up demonstrator and for her open house she had the cutest make and take. It is this adorable 3 x 3 card. It uses the new Artist Etching stamp set. LOVE IT!. It also uses the newsprint Designer paper series...LOVE IT! I have to say Stampin Up has impressed me with some of it's new items.

A.S.K. Notepad
I have been offering a small free class for the ladies at church on a quarterly basis. This was the project for June. I know I am really behind posting it. This is quite simply to make, easy to assemble and who doesn't need a notepad for something?
On the inside there is a sentiment Ask, Seek , Knock from the scriptures, and a small pocket on the left side. I am always thinking of how to improve projects and this is no exception. I already know how I will make my next notepad holder, but you will have to wait cause I think it will be one of my twelve weeks to Christmas projects.

Passport Mania
A friend asked me to help her with a project for Girls Camp. They will be having activities that take them around the world. So she wanted the girls to have passports that they could get stamped at each activity. This was what I came up with. She loved it.
She will be adding a photo to the inside cover of each passport for each girl, and their information goes on the first page. It included their name, their ward and their year of camp attendance. They will sign their book upon arrival at camp.
We added a few fun stamps to the inside pages.
I used Tim Holtz stamps, they were perfect for this project.
I used Tim Holtz stamps, they were perfect for this project.
This took us all afternoon, we made a total of 100 of these. At first she only wanted about 60, enough for just the girls, but she liked them so much she also wanted the leaders and any guests to also be able to have one.
This is not all of them, but just wanted to get a group shot. I used Night of Navy cardstock from Stampin UP. The cover image was embossed with gold embossing powder.
The sentiments were created using Just Right Stampers products.
The first inside page was created on my computer in Publisher.

P3 Challenge for August
It's Paper Cubed time again. The challenge this month is to create a photo display. It could not be a traditional frame. This was my take on it. It is an origami cube that swivel on a base. Great for your desk or a mantel. This is quite large, measuring about 4" across.
You can check out the challenge, the other Design Team members projects and the prize here.
