To make Frosty you will need two Top Note die cuts in white and a box like made in the Frankie tutorial. one orange scallop circle and one copy paper scallop circle, two 1" white circles, two 3/4" black circles, one 1" white circle cut in half, 3 1/2" circles in black, 3 3/4" x2 1/2" black, 4 1/8" x 1 1/4" black and 3 3/4" x 1/2" red cardstock, one snowflake punch and one gem brad, and a wire for handle. Sponge all edges with basic black, except eyeball pieces.
Folding your copy paper scallop circle into quarters punch a tiny hole in the center. Lay this over your orange scallop circle to find the center of it and mark the hole.
Cut a line into the center mark. Then fold each scallop in towards the center.
Cut away five scallop sections. and then apply adhesive to one edge, thinner the better.
Fold over to meet other edge and overlap at adhesive point and secure. This gives you a tiny cone with the scallops folded in.
Apply adhesive to the scallops.
Apply adhesive to the scallops.
Attach to the face just slightly below the middle on one top note die cut.
Attach eyes as in Frankie tutorial.
Attach eyes as in Frankie tutorial.
Punch a small hole in the center of the snowflake punch and then place brad in the hole.
Round the two top corners of your larger black piece and apply adhesive to the bottom edge.
Attach red strip and then round all corners on smaller black piece and attach just below red piece. Then punch a small hole in the red strip. Place snowflake and brad into hole and spread prongs on the back.
Attach hat to face just above eyes.
for your three small black circles, cut some jagged edges around each piece. then apply adhesive to the back. I cut five out originally but only needed three in the end.
Apply to face for Frosty's smile.
Then attach front and back pieces to your box. I did not embellish Frosty's back, wasn't sure what would look good, perhaps just some black and red to continue his hat. Add wire as in Frankie tutorial and you are finished.
I did create another box this morning...but it was not a requested one....and boy is he cute...
Thanks,
