Last One! ...The Pilgrim.
And for my last character box for this year...a Pilgrim. Wow, I made 10 different characters this fall. I hope you have enjoyed them. Anyway, on to the tutorial.
Here are the supplies you will need, two Top Note die cuts, one box as made in the Frankie tutorial,
two 1" white circle, two 3/4" black circles, one 1" circle in face color-cut in half, A partial black Top Note die cut, two corner pieces of Top Note die cut in a brown color, one curly label punch in a Crushed Curry-with two slots punched out to run paper ribbon through, two narrow blue paper strips for ribbon, one center section of Top Note die cut in brown, one black 4 1/2" x 2 3/4", and one black 1" x 5 1/4", two white 3/4" x 4 1/4".
Prepare face as in the Frankie tutorial.
Measure in 1/2" from each end on the long side of your larger, black, rectangle piece and then trim off on an angle. this will be your hat base. Apply adhesive to longer bottom edge.
Attach remaining black long rectangle piece to bottom of hat base.
Thread one of your narrow blue strips through the curly label slots as shown. This is the buckle for the hat.Apply adhesive to the back of your blue strip.
Then attach to hat so blue strip runs along the longer narrow black edge and so that the buckle is out over this edge as shown in the image below.
Then attach hat to top of face just above the eyes.
Apply adhesive to your Top Note, brown corner pieces as shown below.
Attach to the back of the sides of your face piece. This is the hair.
Cut a "V" shaped notch out of the center of one of your narrow white pieces and then angle the ends as shown below. Apply adhesive to the upper long edge.
Attach this piece to the back of the bottom of the face as shown below.
Attach your Top Note die cut middle section in brown, to the center of your other flesh tone, Top Note die cut.
Then attach the partial black Top Note die cut to the top part over the brown piece.
Then attach the other thin blue strip to the lower third of your black partial Top Note die cut as shown below.
Angle the ends on your remaining white piece of paper and apply adhesive to the shorter top edge.
Attach to the back side of the bottom of your die cut as shown below. Then attach to your box. Box assemble is as also shown in the Frankie tutorial.

Tammy, Your boxes are great. I have a daughter in Girl Scouts and we can't wait to make them at our next meeting. TFS.
Oh my goodness he is so cute. Love it! Love your site. Thanks for all the info.
All of these little box creatures are absolutely adorable!! I found you through Stampin' with Di's blog. I think I'll have to make some of these for the kids in my son's class.
Any chance you want to make a blog label for all your creatures so one can find them all in one search? =)
