On the 8th Week to Christmas...

Dream, Create and Share made for me... a box #2 Treat holder like no other!

Introducing the Double the Treat Carrier. I know you have seen these box #2 boxes made very similar to this...but yet not like this. The ones you have seen use the box closure to make the handle, well not this one. This one still closes up so your sweet treat is hidden until the recipient opens it up...how fun is that?
You don't want to miss this tutorial, and it is ONLY available for one week.
It is only $2.00 and is 25 pages long with lots of detailed pictures.
This tutorial is no longer available!

Thanks,

Special Delivery for Grammie

This mini brag book was made for my Grandmothers, who is almost 100 years old. She doesn't get much mail, and lives with my Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother in Law and their three children, so I did up a package for her with this little book in it so she would have some mail.

I used an envelope technique that Steffogal1 posted on YouTube. It is a fun and fairly quick way to make envelope pockets.

The connector for this photo collection is a brad on the one side with journal spots for each photo and on this side is a clock with the brad arms as the clock hands. Isn't that cool? My son thought of that one.

Sorry for the color on this photo, not sure what happened, I tried to adjust it and did a bit but it is still not fixed. It is actually supposed to match the colors of the rest of the book.. I made lots of tags for this book and lots of journal spots. It was a very fun album to make. I wish I took more and better photos before sending it, but too late now.

I hope you enjoyed this peek at this fun gift for my grandmother, and a peek and some special people in my life, I usually don't show pictures of my family in my photos but I had the book finished when I thought about taking pictures of it.
Thanks,

Challenge Card

Here is my entry for a challenge over at 2 Sketches 4 You. It is for a chance to win some Just Right Stampers money. It was a fun card to make and I am loving this color combo. The snowflake is glittery and glossy as I embossed with Glitter and UTEE.

I used lots of bling to add additional sparkle, It is a tag and a card in one. The front is totally a tag, but there is a score line in the back so that it opens to reveal the inside. Sorry I did not get a picture of the side. I may go back and add one.
You should play along, just for the fun.

Edited to add: A great big thank you to 2Sketches 4You for choosing this card as this week's winner. I am so excited and can hardly wait to get some new Just Right Stamper stuff. I wonder if this card will also get me a spot on their Design Team?

Thanks,

Remember this Flower?

Remember this flower from this post? Well here is the project I used it for...

It was for a little girl who comes over to play with my daughter. She said she would really like one when she seen my original box. I asked her what color she liked and her response was Blue.

Here you can see a brief clip on how this little baby spins. I know there are other trinket boxes out there...but none quite like mine. If you like how this box spins you can purchase instructions on how to make this carousel box here.

On the 11th Week of Christmas...

Here is what the 11th week before Christmas brings. ..A gift card holder. It is made with the Top Note die and I used the same layout as for the card to decorate it. I made one in more neutral colors and one in the same colors as last weeks card. I have searched various Top Note gift card holders and have not seen one made like this as yet. That is not to say that this one hasn't been made because there is no way I could check everywhere, but this is my version.

Here is the one like last week's card. I chose a gift card holder for my 2nd project because since the invention of gift cards, I know they are used a lot.

Here they are side by side. This tutorial will ONLY be available for purchase until next weeks posting. I am not showing you the inside as I feel if you want to see, you will purchase the tutorial.
Happy 11th week to Christmas.

World Card Making Day Challenges

Here are my creations for the challenges posted on Splitcoast stampers. I combined several in each item, if I could.
My daughter likes this one the best...her favorite color is pink.

This is my favorite as I love natural colors.

I never give out Halloween cards but here is one I made anyways. Hmmm, wonder who I could give this one to?

This was the ornament I created for the Magnolia-licious challenge. It was fun to make but hard to get a good picture of.

Thanks, I hope you enjoyed my creations,

World Card Making Day

Today is World Card Making day, so today I will post this card. It is another fun Christmas card. I used a color scheme that was featured in the Holiday Mini. Kraft, Whisper White and Bordering Blue. These colors go together beautifully and I am very pleased with how it turned out.

I added some piercing, a bit of sheer ribbon, and a small gem for finishing touches. I hope you like it.

Rustic Star Video

I thought you might like to see a video of the Rustic Star trio that my daughter designed and I wrote the tutorial for. I used Tombo adhesive on this set, instead of the Scor Pal tape recommended in the tutorial, and I find I had to hold it for a few seconds but got a better seal and less of a hole in the center when finished. I also heat embossed the point with a deep chocolate brown embossing powder. I even embossed my brads to match. I did not sponge my edges, which is odd for me, but I love how they turned out. In fact I love them so much they are hanging from my kitchen fan/light, one from each of the pull chains.

Thanks,

12th Day All Packaged Up.

How pretty does this look? I took four cards and four envelopes and packaged them with some sheer ribbon and a curly label tag.

of course you could add more cards and envelopes or you could make a simple box to enclose them in. I just thought I would show a simply and quick way to package these cards to give as a gift or sell at a craft sale. To purchase the tutorial for this card see this post. It is only available for a limited time.
Thanks,

On the 12th Week of Christmas....

...I chose to make cards.
I have decide to create a Christmas project a week for which you can buy the tutorial for. Each one will be simple but fun. The tutorial will ONLY be available until the posting of the next week's project. They will not be available after that time. The first is the card I used for swaps at a recent SU meeting. I chose a card first because we usually make alot of card to give away, so I wanted you to have lots of time to create these. If you do each project as they are received, you will have a good start at your Christmas preparations. I know other blog are doing similar things. So let's see how it goes. These tutorials are just $2.00 each.

This Tutorial Is no longer available for purchase.
