My First Scrapbook class

I have done scrapbook pages before but this is a first for a class. I kept the layout simple. There is place for journaling and you can have two standard size photos without any cropping or if you like, you can cut out some extra images and place them within the ornaments.

Have a great Tuesday! I have a class tonight! I am kind of teaching three classes in one. It is the second run for the Heritage book and there are also two Baby word books and one Nautical/Beach book being done. Should be busy.

Thanks,

My Craft Space

Well, I decided I would post a few pics of creative space. I purchased the two storage cabinets at the local Canadian Tire store...I even put them together by myself. One store mostly my stamp sets. Yup those are the majority of my sets, now most sections have front pile and back pile and my Christmas sets are not stored here. I have a lot. I use most of the sets I have, so I rarely part with any.

Here is the desk where I create my stuff. I used to work at a smaller desk but moved to this one because I am doing more creating now. I like that my punches (on the computer slide out tray) and my ink, ribbon and 8 1/2 x 11 paper (in a filing cabinet below desk) are right handy.
Here is the other organizer shelf I got from Canadian Tire, this one holds mostly my 12 x 12 paper. I also have my alphabet and number stamp sets on this shelf. The drawers here also hold embossing folder and die for my Cuttlebug.
Thanks,

Loving this Paper!

I just love Bella Rose DS paper...don't you! I will definitley have to stock up on this paper before catalogue end. Here is something cute I came up with after seeing this adorable magazine style box card holder on Inking Idaho's blog. She plans to make a holder to fit standard cards, but I could not wait for that so came up with my own. I will post more pictures at a later date and will try to get the dimensions posted for the bigger box...the smaller dimensions are on Inking Idaho's site. Thanks and have a great day...don't forget to stamp!
Please leave a comment with your e-mail address if you would like a copy of the PDF file for the larger box.
Thanks,

A Cherished Gift!

This has been a fun project, special request. A friend asked me to make a word book suitable for a wedding gift...and this is what I came up with. She has not seen it yet...do you think she will like it?
The longest page is 12 inches, so had to choose a word that all the letter could be seen when closed. Here is the E page, I think I will do something different with the tag next time, not happy with it. Can you beleive I am already receiving orders for this! Here is the R page front. The background on this page looks really beautiful IRL. I may still add something to the tag to dress it up...but if she comes for it first it will go like this.
My friend has the new BIGZ die scallop circle from stampin up and brought it over for me to try...isn't she a sweety! Thanks Irene. Well, I used a couple to embellish the folloing two pages. I have one on order but mine is not here yet. I know I am gonna get lots of use out of it.

I love how this background turned out as well... Using two coordinating colors for backgrounds really makes a big difference. I highly reccommend you all try it!
This page is simple as well but ellegant. I tried to include a place to journal on each page...

I had so much fun making this book. I made two at the same time. One for my friend and one to keep for future reference to make more.

And the final page...
So do you think she is gonna love this? I think so, I am pleased at how it turned out.
BTW....if you want one, I will make them to sell.
The Recipe:
Paper: Le Jardin DS paper SU, River Rock, Bashful blue, Always Artichoke, Soft Sky, So Saffron and Very Vanilla
Ink: Always Artichoke, So Saffron
