Taking a Course

Hi Scrappy Friends,

It has been a great summer. I have lots of time camping and swimming between working and more working.
I have also started a course at work that has a time deadline. So, it may be some time before I am back in scrap happy land. I will return. For now though, I have removed sale items from my blog and site as I want to focus on this course. I see there are lots of good ideas out there, so enjoy and have fun creating. I look forward to returning to scrappin' but until then, I hope you all continue in your creative endevours and share your ideas so we all can be inspired.
Thanks,

Out of the Loop-Taking a Course

I am starting a course for work. As you may have noticed I haven't had much time for doing anything creative....uuuggghhh.
Anyway, who knows when I will get back in the swing of things, but I do need to focus on this course. There is a time limit for completion so I will continue to be missing in actio9n for some time.
Thanks,
Tammy

Club Cards

Here are the cards we made in March Club. The first uses Stampin Up Apothecary set from the mini. I love this set and the co-ordinating framlet dies.

This secornd card uses the new border edge die, and embossing folder and fun stamp set from Sal-a-bration.

These were fun to make and I really love the first one.

The only thing I found tricky was the edge die, it wanted to move just as it went through the Big Shot. Perhaps a wee bit of tape would help it stay put!

Thanks Irene.

Hope you enjoyed seeing these cards.

Thanks,

Mini Suitcase Mini

This is so adorable, it fits in the palm of your hand. There is just something so fun about mini mini albums.

The tiny suitcase opens up to reveal a tiny mini. I also love mini albums that are relatively quick to make.

Inside there are pages with pockets and simple yet fun embellishments. You can see the video for this project below.

Je T'Aime Display

An adorable picture display for the ones you love. Perhaps your significant other or your children or maybe your ancestors that you cherish the most. I plan to put my favorite black and white photos of each of my children in mine, since there are six sections and I have six children.

I embellished each section with tags from Stampin Up's Beau Chateau side notes, and assorted die cuts, flowers, buttons and metal accessories.

The above section has embellishements to the inside of the shadow box, and some on the edge of the shadow box and then some on the top to add dimension and depth.

The base is an Accucut die called Shadow Box- Portrait. It is altered so that several are connected together to make an accordian style booklet. The booklet will fold all up and is held closed with a Basic Grey magnetic closure.

I hope you enjoyed this fun project.

Thanks, and Happy Valentine's Day everyone!I will post images of the cute project I made for my sweety soon,

Rustic Star Class

I am finally getting around to having a class. This is a repeat class. My daughter created this project several years ago and the tutorial has been very popular. I recently created a custom die for this as it takes a very long time to hand cut all the pieces for one set, let alone for a whole class.

So as requested this class will take place February 29th, in my scraproom. The details are on my website here.

If you do not live in my local area, you can buy the tutorial, which inlcudes the template for all three sizes, also from the above link.

I {Heart} you!

Here is a cute Valentine's display banner I made using my accucut pennants die, Stampin up Pefect pennants die and Tim Holtz mini flourish die. It is free standing, but could easliy be turned into a hanging banner. I just love how it turned out. You can falod it up to store away for next year too!

I used Love Letters Designer series paper, which Stampin Up recently had on their clearance rack. I matted it with black cardstock and then embelished each section.

The heart in this section is from glitter paper.

The letter are also from Stampin Up.

This was fun and quick to make. You can get these base pennant shapes from me to make your own Valentines banner for someone you love! I also have two other banner shapes, a triangular and a rounded edged.

Check out my store or contact me by e-mail.

Thanks,

Pop Up Gift Card

I was thinking of ways I can get more from my Accucut dies and this idea popped into my head. I could use the matt die cut from the gift card die to create a gift card holder for any project. In this case a - pop up gift card - card.

I added an inside matt to the card base, and cut four slits in it and folded them opposite to the center fold so they popped out! Then I added my die cut gift card holder matt. to the pop out pieces.

and voila! pop up gift card holder.

You can see the video for this project, which includes a picture slide show of how it is assembled, below.

Thanks,
