This is the card I made for my Dad's birthday, but this could easily also be used for a Father's Day card.
I used soft suede for the card base and the textured layer is kraft. I used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the texture. I used sponging to distresses the edges and then also used a distress tools to further distress all edges.The textured layer is on dimensionals. I wrapped some twine around the layer and knotted it adding a metal key embellishment before attaching to the card base. I added a circle paper clip and then added a layered sentiment. I added a glimmer chip owl and as a final touch I added some glossy accents to the owl's eyes and beak.I hope you enjoyed this card. It went together quite quickly.
It has been a while since I made a card, at least i t feel like quite a while.

Oh Tammy this is totally ACE what a wonderful image and I adore the colours and your design I think this certainly has a vintage look to it and would also be acceptable to anyone who loves animals and vintage...like me lol.
