Hi,
Anyone for a chance to win something?
Charlene over at Paper and Ink Playground is playing this fun blog candy thing. I had to be one of the first five to leave a comment on her blog and continue the blog candy give away on my blog...so here are the rules...not sure where they originated from....
The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you! This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done this year! (I will get it to you in the next month or so, hopefully - grin).
4. You have no clue what it's going to be. I have tons of ideas, but who knows what it will be? Not you, that's for sure!
5. The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog! (then come here and post, I WILL check your blog *wink*) The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!
So....who will be the first 5 people????? We now have four...only one more!
Thanks for playing...

Bikini Card
She wore an itsy bitsy, teenie, weenie...well it goes something like that, I think.
I have wanted to try one of these since first seeing them on Splitcoast ages ago and I finally got around to it. Above is the front of my card and below is the back.
Here is what the inside looks like when you open the card. Her belly button is not great...but it will do. I used some sponging to add figure shaping. The lace on the edges is white copy paper punched with the Martha Stewart border punch. I had to create a template for the inside bra parts as the one from the front of the card does not fit here.

My Hubby's Card
Here is the card I gave to my Hubby for Valentine's day. He liked it, even thought it was pink! This card has lots of dimansion and sparkle. I added gems, and stickles. The paper bow is a piece of leftover DS paper from when you do a scallop border. I then ran it throught the paper crimper and folded it and used glue dots to hold it in place.

Goodies Have Arrived!
Today I got a surprise in the mail....Yup!
From Stampin Up. It was my first goodie box for being a part of the survey panel.
I received...
A Perfect Plum Classic Ink Pad, which I already had, but that's still okay, I have friends who craft as well...
Eastern Blooms stamp set ...wooo hoo did not have this one and it is still current!
and
Eastern Elegance Rub Ons...which I am excited to try, as I have not yet tried the rub ons.
Not bad for answering a few questions every couple of weeks. Stampin Up is awesome.
Thanks you Stampin Up.

How Cute is This?
Okay, today I was home and just playing around. I have seen some really cute boxes made with the Top Note die from Stampin Up, but to me, the spine part looked unfinished, so today I came up with this idea, which I took pictures of as I made it (so this week I will post a tutorial for how I did it) and then.... I decided, hmmm... why not try to make a smaller version using the short side of the Top Note die and voila!
I was able to get this other adorable min Top Note pizza box, which is just big enough to hold one of those mini chocolate bars that they have at Halloween or other holidays. How cute are they? Are you looking forward to the instructions?
Thanks,

Valentine Treat Pouch
Trying to get some things ready for Valentine's. Worked on daughter's class valentine's today and then decided to try out a heart shaped treat pouch. I don't have the die for this but I created my own template. It worked pretty good, at least I think so. I am still waiting for my Candy lane paper to arrive, so I used some retired paper.
The heart on the front is on dimensionals, as is the letter "L". I also added Stickles to the "L" to make it sparkly, as you can see in this close up. I then added some accents to the scallops on the heart with my white Signo gel pen. So what do you think? Did it turn out sweet? Would you be interested in a copy of the template for the heart pocket?
In case you missed my earlier posts, I am now selling kits and finished products. You can view them by clicking the category "for sale" on the side bar.

OOOPS!
I am sorry, I am new to trying to sell stuff online. When I went to see if the links worked for the "Buy it Now" buttons, I realized they did not work. I have since re-did them and tested them and they seem to now work.
Hope this was not an inconvenience for anyone. If you try, and they do not work for you, I would appreciate it if you would let me know so I can try to fix it.
Thanks,

Top Note Mini Book
It feels like forever since I have posted, I have been sick and I am just getting back at stuff. So today has been busy with posting. I love the Top Note die, you can do so much with it. I think it is my favorite die. The letter is from the Serrif Essentials die alphabet. I always wanted a really nice die alphabet, and this one is great.
I used the swirly decorative strip die to make the swirls and edges on the pages. Here a just a couple of the pages. I then included different "friendship" stamps punched out and adhered with dimensionals. This is a gift for a friend...I hope she likes it. I think I will make a couple more for some more good friends.
Just a note, I originally tried to make the book with the full die cut, but the pages would not turn correctly so I had to trim off one long side. In the future I would recommend taking care of that in the die cutting process by lining the paper up so it cuts one long or short edge off.
